In the context of the Cloud Monetisation Platform, an individual or organisation who has signed an agreement to take goods and services from a service provider. A customer receives a bill associated with one or more subscriptions, and can be a single end user or a large company with many subscriptions assigned to one agreement. data in CMP. Additional web services are available to query product catalogue data to support order processes and in-life changes.
Two types of interaction are supported:
- Requests to view and manage customer data from external applications, such as Business Process Orchestration, Self-Care and CRM
Customer Relationship Management. The practices, strategies and technologies that organisations use to manage and analyse customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle, with the goal of improving business relationships with customers, retaining customers, and driving sales.. In the Cloud Monetisation Platform, a billing entity that can be used to manage payments on one or more subscriptions or payments for services. An account can hold details such as payments or invoices. and Customer, terminating subscriptions and querying unbilled usage
The consumption of services, for example a subscriber using call minutes. charges. - Requests to view and automate management of key business configuration data from external applications such as a centralised product catalogue.

The web services provide visibility of all relevant customer data to allow developers to integrate bespoke Customer Relationship Management and self-care platforms with CMP without constraining the available information.
